The Ranger cross country team wrapped up their season on Friday at the Section 8A meet in Bagley.
The top two teams and the top eight individuals not on those teams advance to state.
Rangers’ junior Tucker Ringhand secured the eighth and final individual spot as he ran a 17th-place 17:25 to lead the C-I boys to ninth place overall.
On the girl’s side, Sarah Bostrom led the way with a 21:05.5. Good enough for 24th place individually and a team finish of tenth.
Tucker advances to the Class 1A state meet at St. Olaf College in Northfield Saturday, Nov. 3rd.
