The Ranger football team was back on the road last Friday night as they traveled to Moose Lake-Willow River for a key section 7AA match-up.
Unfortunately, the game did not go in favor of the visiting Rangers as they fell 51-28.
The Rebels relied on a strong rushing attack on offense, racking up 446 rushing yards.
C-I fell behind early and was forced to utilize their passing game to stay in the ball game. In the end, the Rangers threw for a season-high 312 yards on offense.
The Rangers fall to 2-4 overall. Their next game is Thursday at home vs. Esko. Thursday will serve as Senior Night for C-I as it is their last scheduled home game of the season.
