The Ranger volleyball team came into Thursday night’s match having lost four straight. Luckily, they were able to turn things around and defeat a tough Walker-Hackensack-Akeley team 3-1.
The Wolves won the first set of the night, but the Rangers rallied to win the last three.
Michaela Stangel led the way offensively with 12 kills for C-I. Other strong hitters on the night included Bailey Potter with 7 kills and Mya DeCent with 6 kills. Assisting many of those kills were Jacey Rydberg with 16 assists and Marlee Zender with 14.
Caitlyn Gutzman racked up 33 digs on the defensive side of things.
The Rangers are now 10-9 overall on the season. Their next match is Tuesday when they travel to Aitkin for their annual Dig Pink match up.
