Student-Athletes of the Month Named

Cayden Turk, Paige Westin, Logan Grittner, and Emma Sanford were all recently selected as student-athlete of the month award recipients for the spring season. Cayden Turk is a junior golfer for the Rangers. He is 2nd on the boys team with an average score of 79.7. Cayden also earned Mid Minn All-Conference honors this spring. Paige

17 Individuals Qualify for Section Track

The Ranger track and field team competed at the Sub-Section track meet yesterday in Esko. Overall, the Rangers advanced 17 individuals to the Section meet next Thursday at UMD. Rydberg, Eigenheer named Senior Athletes of the Year

Danielle Rydberg and Taylor Eigenheer were recently honored as the C-I Senior Athlete of the Year recipients for the 2018-2019 school year. Dani was a 3-sport athlete, participating in volleyball, basketball, and track. She was also a captain for each of those teams. Taylor participated in football and wrestling. C-I Hosts 7A True Team Meet

John Davies Athletic Field was a busy site Tuesday afternoon as C-I played host to the Section 7A True Team track meet. 16 total schools (15 boys teams, 15 girls teams) were on site to compete in the event. The Mesabi East girls and Pillager boys teams punched their tickets to the State True Team

Rydberg named Region Winner for Triple “A” Award
